  • Content that promotes or provides instructions for creating weapons, explosives, or other devices intended to cause harm.
  • Content that encourages or promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
  • Content that promotes dangerous activities or challenges that could result in physical harm.
  • Content that contains or distributes personally identifiable information without authorization (doxxing).

3.3 Offensive Content

  • Content that is defamatory, libelous, or slanderous.
  • Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Content that harasses, bullies, intimidates, or threatens any individual or group.
  • Content that is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Content that depicts or glorifies violence, gore, or cruelty.
  • Content that is misleading, deceptive, or constitutes fraud.

3.4 Spam and Deceptive Content

  • Websites engaged in spam, including comment spam, trackback spam, or link spam.
  • Content designed to artificially manipulate search engine rankings (black hat SEO).
  • Fake news, misinformation, or disinformation intended to deceive users.
  • Websites that use deceptive practices to collect user information or distribute unwanted software.
  • Content that impersonates any person, organization, or entity.
  • Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing scams, or other fraudulent business practices.

3.5 Unauthorized Content

  • Websites or content you do not have authorization to access or analyze.
  • Content from private or password-protected areas accessed without permission.
  • Competitor websites analyzed for the purpose of unfair competitive practices.
  • Government or military websites without proper authorization.
  • Websites with explicit terms prohibiting automated access or analysis.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in any of the following activities when using our Services:

4.1 Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Services through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any associated system or network, or breach any security or authentication measures.
  • Attempting to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or making up the Services.
  • Interfering with, disrupting, or creating an undue burden on the Services or the networks or services connected to the Services.
  • Introducing any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempting to access or search the Services with any engine, software, tool, agent, device, or mechanism other than the software and/or search agents provided by us or other generally available third-party web browsers.

5. URL Submission Guidelines

When submitting URLs for analysis through our Services, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

5.1 Authorization

  • You must have authorization to analyze the submitted URL. This includes websites you own, operate, or have explicit permission from the owner to analyze.
  • If you are analyzing a client's website, you must have their consent to use our Services for analysis.
  • You may not submit URLs for websites that explicitly prohibit automated analysis in their terms of service or robots.txt file (unless you have explicit permission from the website owner).

5.2 Content Restrictions

  • All submitted URLs must comply with the Prohibited Content guidelines in Section 3.
  • URLs must point to publicly accessible web pages. We cannot analyze password-protected or authenticated content.
  • URLs must be valid and properly formatted.
  • You may not submit URLs designed to exploit vulnerabilities in our screenshot or analysis systems.

5.3 Rate Limits

  • You must respect any rate limits applicable to your account tier.
  • You may not use automated tools to submit URLs in a manner that exceeds normal human usage patterns.
  • If you need to analyze a large number of URLs, please contact us to discuss enterprise solutions.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account:

  • You must use a strong, unique password for your account and keep it confidential.
  • You must not share your account credentials with anyone.
  • You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • You must not use another user's account without permission.
  • We recommend enabling two-factor authentication if available.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report it to us. You can report violations by:

8. Enforcement and Consequences

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this Acceptable Use Policy. Actions we may take include, but are not limited to:

8.1 Warning

For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and request that you cease the prohibited activity. Failure to comply may result in more severe consequences.

8.2 Content Removal

We may remove, disable access to, or modify any content that violates this Policy, without prior notice.

8.3 Account Suspension

We may temporarily suspend your access to the Services while we investigate potential violations. During suspension, you will not be able to access your account or use the Services.

8.4 Account Termination

For serious or repeated violations, we may permanently terminate your account and access to the Services. Account termination may result in the loss of all data associated with your account, including unused credits. No refunds will be provided for accounts terminated due to Policy violations.

We may report violations to law enforcement authorities and cooperate with their investigations. We may also pursue civil remedies for violations that cause harm to us or our users.

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us at contact@pageroast.io. Please provide a detailed explanation of why you believe the action was taken in error. We will review your appeal and respond within 30 days.

9. Cooperation with Authorities

We may disclose any information we have about you (including your identity) if we determine that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding your use of the Services, or to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, or the rights or property of visitors to or users of the Services, including our customers.

We reserve the right at all times to disclose any information that we deem necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We also may disclose your information when we determine that applicable law requires or permits such disclosure, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes.

  • You agree not to use the analysis results to harm, defame, or unfairly criticize the third-party website owner.
  • You remain responsible for ensuring you have the right to analyze the third-party website.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PageRoast and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Services using your account.

We do not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any content or communications posted via the Services or endorse any opinions expressed via the Services. You understand that by using the Services, you may be exposed to content that might be offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or otherwise inappropriate.

We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the audit results or recommendations provided by our Services. The AI-generated analysis is based on automated processes and may not account for all factors relevant to your specific situation.
